Dangerous Foods for Dogs at Christmas #1
As we approach Christmas, there’s an increased chance of your dog ‘accidentally’ eating something they shouldn’t!
So we thought it was a good time to remind you of some of the dangerous foods, some poisonous, for dogs.
Today, it’s chocolate:
Chocolate contains theobromine, a stimulant similar to caffeine, which can cause vomiting, increased heart rate, agitation and seizures in dogs.
So consider things like advent calendars, chocolate figurines, Christmas tree decorations and chocolate tins which are the most common items that pose dangers to greedy dogs at Christmas!
Make sure these are out of reach of pets.
